Multiple politicions have said that they want an outright ban.[citation needed]Gun owners and non-gun owners alike want stricter gun control. The idea that there is some cabal of pols who want to take away all guns simply serves to push gun owners into the racist, opportunist arms of the NRA whose only interest is in gun manufacturing and fear, and not in our society as a whole.
Also, the fact that Don Cheeto's administration supports this is a sign of how meaningless it is.
