Bob Woodward?s new book reveals a ?nervous breakdown? of Trump?s presidency

quote [ A central theme of the book is the stealthy machinations used by those in Trump?s inner sanctum to try to control his impulses and prevent disasters, both for the president personally and for the nation he was elected to lead.

Woodward describes ?an administrative coup d?etat? and a ?nervous breakdown? of the executive branch, with senior aides conspiring to pluck official papers from the president?s desk so he couldn?t see or sign them. ]

This is as bad as I had thought. Time for somebody to bring up the 25th amendment. No wonder Trump has been peevish lately he had somebody read to him from his advance copy.

Trump called Attorney Jeff Sessions a 'traitor,' and said 'Everybody's trying to get me,' according to an explosive new Bob Woodward book

And the president once phoned Defense Secretary James Mattis to say "Let's f---ing kill him" after Syrian leader Bashar Assad launched a chemical attack on civilians, according to the book. "Let's go in. Let's kill the f---king lot of them,"

With each passing day this gets worse...

No exaggeration: if any other elected leader in a Western democracy tried to instruct their top law enforcement official to shield their political allies from prosecution for political reasons like this, they would be forced to resign within hours. This is insane.

Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff......

and just in case you doubted this has a real world consequences
here is something that happened a few weeks ago that could of gotten drowned out in the Trump daily crises

The US officially re-launched the US Navy's Cold War-era Second Fleet Friday, a move that comes amid renewed concern over the threat posed by Russia.
"US Second Fleet has a storied history, and we will honor that legacy," Vice Adm. Andrew "Woody" Lewis, who took command of the fleet Friday, said during a ceremony marking the fleet's re-launch in Norfolk, Virginia.
Lewis said his goal was to "build a fleet that is ready to fight. Ready to fight so we don't have to."

I read it is a tossup as far is progressive vs 3rd way...I could agree as slight loss.

+1 informative but can't vote.
