Politicians who make unambiguous election promises, and then keep those promises upon election, should be applauded, not derided.
I wonder what system one wants when you argue against this basic tenant of democracy.

I never got an answer to this question the last time I posed it. I'm sure I'm missing the obvious answer everyone else takes for granted.
