Though I don't know how I knew him beforehand, the first thing I remember seeing Tim Curry in was The Shadow, and yes objectively it is not a great film, but it is once I hold in my heart.

What's his best performance you ask?
The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix, read by Tim Curry. It's creepy and hideous when it needs to be, but still warm and genuine as well. It's one of my favourite stories and you should check it out. |
