I don't pay much attention to American sources of news anymore, and I live in Wisconsin. But I am hoping for some good news soon that the mainstream news will cover! Also, Indonesia, the 4th most populous nation on the planet, is kinda freaking out right now and I don't think that's getting much attention either. I don't have a good source, but at least here's something.
