DIY Web Archiving

quote [ Care about stuff on the web? *You* need to act to archive it. ]

Interesting way of collecting short instructions on various scraping tools.

The site has a little archive of other accessible manifests.

I've had this idea kicking around for a while that it might be nice to archive every webpage you visit. I feel it might be pretty storage intensive and difficult to index though.

Nah, it's a lot like bookmarking and works well with full text search.. well maybe –every– page is overkill.. Often, I see little docs that I'd rather have offline and then you'll resort to wget commands for saving a subtree of some wiki or something.
