Cool. I'm really interested in this whole idea/movement. I definitely miss the part of the internet that was more in line with wandering through the library to see what you might uncover.
There are definitely parts of "how it was" that still are valuable, and mostly you just have to let it float above the junk. I'm happy other people just want to make some stuff and find other people who are interested in doing the same. Also, this applies as well: https://neocities.org/ |

It is no big deal, really – as soon as you get yourself your own domain and mail on some cheapo hosting you can basically do whatever you want like it's 1995. Traffic caps and disk space are less of a problem today.
