Most anti-gay groups that try to impose themselves via governments usually justify their position by saying that gays are "deviants" or mentally ill or some other argument that puts the blame on the individuals' choice, and reject the idea that it's biological -- especially the religious ones since that implies its God's will or something. Would they even want to acknowledge this technology since it undermines their justification, or would their bigotry and desire to attack gays override their ability to recognize/acknowledge/care about the contradiction?
