Everyone does it. Steele has taken away the edit option on posts for now, so it's hard to do a makeup post, when it inevitably does occur.
Doesn't mean we can't have some fun with it. Anyone remember the old "cruel.com" board? They used to pass out the "asshat" when someone reposted. How about: The GODZILLA hat  |

I haven't taken away the edit option, I've cut it down from a day to about an hour. We have downmods for a reason, to moderate the site. If people don't use the downmods, the site doesn't get moderated. A 3 minute fuckup like this isn't a big deal, but people not using the search and reposting same day shit needs to be downmodded. Blatantly wrong categories should be downmodded so the category pages and filters are actually useful... etc..

I'm on the fence about that. Ideally the response would be half and half. Once in a while is fine if it's really funny, but I wouldn't want to encourage people going for that specifically.
