“Sandman”: Netflix Orders Neil Gaiman Comic Book Adaptation Straight to Series

quote [ In what is expected to be the most expensive DC Entertainment series to date, Netflix gave a straight-to-series order for Neil Gaiman comic "Sandman". ]

FRICKIN' FINALLY!!

Also looking forward to the petition by those wacky Christians to get this show cancelled from Amazon Prime.

How you see season one of Preacher is how I see season two. All that time in Cassidy's son's apartment waiting for the Killer to come after them (twice) was kind of boring and seemed unnecessary, just more character building. The saving grace was I ended up liking the side story of Arseface in Hell when I expected I wouldn't. Season three has been my favorite so far, they made a good story out of Jesse's family IMO.

Overall, while I'm enjoying this adaptation, I would have preferred HBO green lighting this years ago when a producer came to them with the comic and said, "Every issue is an episode." That would have given us seven seasons of great television.
