quote [ The new research points to another factor that puts people at greater risk of dying from COVID-19: party affiliation.
The study finds that excess deaths during the pandemic were 76% higher among Republicans than Democrats in two states, Ohio and Florida. ] Ell Oh Ell. Wonder what the stats will look like next year?

"Immunity Debt" (Unlocked) - The Death Panel Podcast - good listen.
Wonder what the stats will look like next year? Probably more balanced. Back in august, as a consequence of letting covid run wild, the number of vaccinated deaths overtook unvaccinated deaths. This is probably going to be a very rough winter given how a significant chunk of the population is now immunocompromised. |

If the weak are strong, they are strong. But if the strong are weak, they're weak. If the weak who are strong are weak, they are weak, unless they are also strong, but that's getting into advanced theory.

It's not hard to imagine that this could have swung a close election. Add in the election denial nonsense making some people think their vote doesn't matter and the effect gets even bigger.
