Rabbits have no good reason to be wild in NZ. They need shooting and they are delicious.

Here's something weven you pervs might not know - that 'flap' under the rabbit's chin (in the photo) is where female rabbits store the fat they draw on to produce milk. It's a titty!!!

TL;DR: invasive and out performing other wild life. Quick fixes to the rabbit problem caused worse problems- so all the unique Flora and Fauna of NZ is getting fucked. By rabbits and friends (but at least rabbits are good eat'n) but not as good as endangered kiwi eggs/chicks probably.

When I was a little kid, we had a pet coon. Can verify, they're cute and fun until they're not, and then it's a disaster and heart breaker.
