I liked Tom Perriello 10 years ago when he ran for Congress. Not sure what he's been up to since then but guess Virginia is stuck with the establishment vote.

I fear it's going to turn off a lot of voters in November when it really matters for Democrats. Virginia is a weird case for governor elections, coming a year after the presidential race. Typically the party the lost the presidency wins governor (McAuliffe being the only exception in my lifetime actually. But that's a whole other story involving fun corruption charges and jail sentences). But this is two primaries in a row now where the Bernie voters have lost and if that wing of the party just decides they don't care anymore I'm not sure what that does to the main election.

If that's all that it takes to discourage them, they already don't care.

They care they don't trust or believe...lot of them around this place if memory serves.

Worth noting- the Republican candidate who aligned most closely with Trump also lost.

Another was the vote totals. Big Dem advantage.
