Comey testimony recap: Saw 'letting Flynn go' as Trump order; also implicates Pence, Sessions

quote [ Today saw the long-awaited public testimony of James Comey, former FBI director, before the Senate Intelligence Committee. Comey testified as to the circumstances surrounding his firing by Donald Trump shortly after Trump requested that he drop the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn. ]

Not like you weren't all thinking about it.

Comey has implicated Pence and Sessions. It's clear that the Republicans won't do anything about this; they're perfectly happy with obstruction of justice, collusion with a foreign power, and treason as long as it means they get to set shit on fire.

Even if the Democrats retake the House (likely), unless they also retake the Senate (not impossible but highly unlikely), impeachment isn't going anywhere yet. Better hope that Mueller finds some serious smoking guns.

WTF is right. And then there's McCain's bumbling line of questions that implied Clinton must have had russian connections, so why didn't comey investigate that?

Jesus Fucking Christ we're all going to hell.

This was the biggest news of the day. McCain looked senile or drunk.

McCain believes President Comey is a big deal reaching conclusions in Hillary Clinton's coordination with Russia's campaign election. Then what the hell is that big thing?

"I helped prosecute Watergate. Comey’s statement is sufficient evidence for an obstruction of justice case."

Not that it matters. Justice is dead in this country.

Did Trump go through with his live-tweet rebuttal?

I wonder if anyone at the white house has thought of setting up a fake twitter site and changing the WH wifi's dns to point to it.

That would get prosecuted as treason. And I'm not sure that would even be wrong.

You motherfuckers thought Come(D)y was the second coming of John Dean, and the guy turns out to be a leaky Clinton-sphincter-licker.

Trump rips the masks off of everyone– again.
