I think that most people with pets or those who've encountered wild animals in non-confrontational situations would agree that there's way more going on than non-animal people would admit. Category chosen because of non-human people.

I don't think we can ever really know. But I quite like not knowing. There's nothing quite as inexplicable as my cat heading past me with a toy or random object in his mouth. His purpose is beyond my knowing.
