Cross-collateralizing by studios as a way to blatantly rip off artists, is the oldest and dirtiest trick in the book unfortunately.
Most old musicians and actors I know, always tell me one thing in common - if they had to do it over again, they would hire a lawyer and and accountant...and then hire another lawyer and accountant to watch them. I think that Guest, Plummer, and Shearer all got ripped off with best in show, and when they were The Folksmen, as well. |
