[Score:1 Underrated]
I'm happy enough for him to die slowly in the jungle surrounded by a diminishing number of followers. It makes less of a martyr and more of a pathetic war criminal.

I understand that he embraced "the good kind" of Christianity and repudiated his previous behaviour. Still, it's odd that after all this time the response to his many and grievous crimes, is, "Well then...nevermind."

You might be thinking of someone else. Kony defended his actions, but he never repudiated them that I know of, and he's still out there in the jungle with his few remaining fighters.
"Well then...nevermind." is a pathetic response. But it's a whole lot more interest that most war criminals get from the rest of us. |
