Back when I was in the military, we were allowed to have cellphones in sensitive areas, but only if they didn't have cameras. Even back then that was a nigh impossible task. I remember having to buy some stupidly expensive Blackberry because it was literally the only phone without a camera in the store.

Now do cars.

I'm at the point where I'm doing a bunch of maintenance on my 12-13 year old truck and the thought of a new vehicle [besides money] is not a fun prospect. With new vehicles switching to "subscription" models where you have to pay extra for them to activate features they already gave you is infuriating. They pre-load a vehicle with heated seats that you're probably already paying for in the base price but you can't enjoy it unless you pay that little extra. And I'm sure that there's no hope of a homebrew/jailbroken ECU either without having some kind of right-to-repair law with teeth.

Just buy anything with a carburetor.

As an added bonus they usually come with a forearm work out device, or what used to to known as a Window winder.

Finding a mechanic who knows how to service it o the other hand.

This is great for those people who realize that they are addicted to their smartphones and know that that's a bad thing, but I think most of the people who are addicted to their smartphones either don't know it or don't care.
