You can get rich off bitcoin. But you can get rich off any fad bubble/pyramid scheme.

I argue when people call it an investment. It's speculation at best, and maybe gambling. But the odds are better than roulette and it's difficult to argue against putting up a bit of money you can afford to lose. But I know people putting in more than that.
