This is a pretty clever use of corporate APIs – I wondered where they got the data upon looking at the site.
The one about flight tickets on Instagram is more dramatic though and was even simpler to parse. |

This one was better than the original post. You could totally repost this for +2 karma or whatever amounts to "tons" these days on SE.

Ah, thanks. Why go ahead and repost it yourself, if you want, soaking in the karma showers … mh, that sounds a little dirty all of a sudden.

Saw on reddit sometime in the recent past, from a former employee (and possibly even a current manager - can't quite recall for certain), that the machines are down so often due to no one wanting to deal with the cleaning and refilling of the machines. It's apparently a big hassle, so they just say it's broken and go on about their other tasks.

I'm convinced they just tell you it's broken sometimes just to not have to deal with orders that require it. I don't go too often, but it's always broken when all I want is just a McFlurry.
(Yes, I know McFlurrys suck. But it's soft serve, which is easier on my lactose intolerance, it's cheap, and supposedly easily accessible). |
