The amount of bullshit Bolivia has had to deal with from their military and the US is fucking insane. I'm only hoping that Arce can actually assume power without being assassinated or some bullshit.

No doubt. Áñez basically called open season on the indigenous people. It's amazing how much our media completely manages to "ignore" the racism of the right wing insurgencies in south america. When they were attacking Maduro in Venezuela, not that they stopped, there was even a birther movement demanding his birth certificate.
All that being said, the strength and solidarity of Bolivia's indigenous people and the fight they put up was amazing. |

The coup came at a time when Morales had recently canceled an exploitive Lithium deal. Musk was vocal about it on twitter, tweeting "We will coup who we want."
