If the Santa Fe NMican is reporting on it I assume so, though I don't intuitively know which mountains around there count as the Rockies. SF has the Sangre de Christos on one side and the Jemez (my old stomping grounds) on the other.

Someone who claims to have figured out the spot but been too late gives more details, if he's correct it was up in Yellowstone. |
