3 more of them in the extended. Looks pretty sweet... demonstrating teleportation mechanics and smooth locomotion. My 1050ti doesn't meet the min spec, but I'll probably try it anyway eventually.

It looks great, I also have some extra scratch to upgrade my vive controllers to the knuckles...

Nice. I'm very jealous. there's a small part of me trying to convince myself to shell out the money for a gtx 1660ti and an Odyssey+, which is still going on sales for less than $250! I've got a hard time rationalizing the expense though, without having published anything in the past 2 years. My 1050ti and the HP WMR/Rift CV1 I've got are still doing their jobs... Maybe the vid card if I can beta a short game by this summer or something.💁‍♂️😅

My GTX780 died and out of the warranty about two years ago when the new new RTXs were coming out, but the GTX1080s were still over 1000 bucks (damn them bit coiners)...I got an EVGA reference GTX1070Ti 8 gb for 349 at the time they were normally above 500 bucks. Then in spring of 2019 I got my Vive for 3 and some change as they were on their way out for that Pro version. I got into VR with a lot of power and very much on the cheap. Currently I'm ripping up carpet in the living room and going to set up a 10X10 VR zone. Nothing crazy, but a lot more fun than VRing at a desk.

Oh, hell yeah! You're gonna love it, the more room the better. When my friend first got his vive years ago we cleared out his entire living room for a bit and put the lighthouses at the max distance they would still operate. I got lost in there for about an hour without ever seeing the Chaperone. It was amazing! That night, after I was out, I kept reaching out to try and teleport around the house.😅🤣🤣

Actually that reminds me, I don't know if I posted about it, but I got to do The Void Star Wars experience down at Disney Springs back in January. It was incredible! The leap motion hand tracking could've been a bit better, but the ability to move around and interact with physical objects really solidified the illusion. My lady friend and I teamed up with another couple and it was fascinating how quickly you find yourself buying into the the charade of being on a mission with fellow Rebels. I'm now trying to convince that same friend with the Vive to let me build one of these Infinite Hallways out in his backyard. lol, I don't think he's gonna go for it though. So I'm thinking maybe just mobile interface walls (with switches and shit) that can be wheeled out when we want to experiment or do demos.
