One of the bars I semi-frequent in Long Beach, CA called The Blind Donkey (featured in La La Land) has these, it's below street level and one wall of the joint is illuminated by them. It's a cool space. Of course you have to get there pretty early to notice them - otherwise the sun's down anyway.
