If you haven't read much about defimation, this thread about Vic Mignogna v. FUNimation et al. Is a great master class in why defimation is a very hard suit to win, and why they often hurt more then help. Still, most people don't have the funds to defend against them and just bringing them can cause chaos in people's life.
