Haha... No, it literally means that we sleep with our own blankets. It started when she was pregnant. Now it's one of those things that keeps us from getting a divorce. ;)

I got one of those weighted blankets. I really liked it, but my wife can't stand it. Her dream bed has blankets that hover six inches off her body.

So, get a bed with posts, like in a period drama or a bdsm scene. Get her a bungee cord blankie to secure to the posts, problem solved.
