When I was a young child I stuffed a submission box to win a trip to an amusement park for my family. I won. |

In middle school for a state math competition (yes I'm a nerd) one of my teammates copied off my paper without me realizing it. Unfortunately I came in first, he came in fourth, and had much more of a spotlight than he'd expected.

There was a DDR match at my college game room. $10 to enter the tournament they had going. I know I didn't win, but I placed high up. We had an odd number of participants and the organizer lost count when I lost to the actual winner and won against the odd player. For some reason I won the pool.

Interesting article on the whole. I wish there had been screen caps and a clearly labelled timeline of how the subject's story had been changing that took into account the publicly available information and the emails with Vice.
