My current job search issues can be summed up as
"Why do you have such a large employment gap?"
"Because people keep asking that question expecting some answer that makes it disappear."

That venting aside, "facial recognition" and "job seeking" appearing together raises all sorts of red flags. These systems learn what we teach them, and then biases get sanitized via "it's a computer, it has to be logical."

GIGO has long been a part of the hiring process, but this technology can remove accountability on the part of the employer.
