This is old news from December for the rest of the world that wasn't under media blackout (he had another trial to face but that one's been dropped).
It's significant because he spent a great deal of his career educating on the dangers of homosexuality and how destructive it's been for society. He's now been found guilty of forcing choirboys to suck his penis. I'd be happy the victims got some closure at least, but one of them's dead from a heroin overdose, and Pell's lawyers will have enough cash to appeal forever. |
