Patriots Owner Bob Kraft Charged With Soliciting Prostitution

quote [ New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, one of the most powerful men in American football, was charged today on two counts of soliciting prostitution in connection to a recent law enforcement bust on massage parlors in Florida that, according to law enforcement, were used for prostitution and human trafficking. The news comes a few weeks after the Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl and days after Kraft appeared at the NBA All-Star game. ]

A 200 dollar rub-n-tug in Florida? Dude - you are Robert Freaking Kraft...aren't your standards supposed to be a tad bit higher than that? Kind of gives the whole "Patriots SUCK" thing a whole new meaning.

Good for him. On a related note its annoying how every time you see prostitution mentioned now human trafficking is next to it, like the market for prostitution is going to somehow dry up if we tell everyone it's the cause of slavery and shame everyone who uses it.

If you want to eliminate human trafficking, license and regulate prostitution you prude cowards.

I can say with some very specific examples in mind about which I'm not at liberty to elaborate that every case that's been prosecuted in my home town regarding massage parlors claims it's a victory for human trafficking, and it's a lie EVERY TIME. It's a bunch of asshole cops deporting old self-employed Chinese ladies giving hand jobs.

If you want to eliminate illegal arms trafficking, license and regulate guns.

Apparently trafficking has gone *up* since the passage of SESTA/FOSTA. It's almost as if the real purpose of the law was something else.

I see two really solid reasons -

1) "You don't become a billionaire from wasting money!"

or

2) "It's not the same unless you really know they are trafficked and they've been forced into it. The subjugation really does it for me."

NFL owner, so definitely 2.

I mean, it's obviously 2.

To be fair, one becomes a billionaire through a history of trafficking and forced subjugation so the efficiency of 1 plays a part.

Ah, so you think maybe it's actually 3...

3) "Just habit I guess."

"I'm just surprised an NFL owner would get a handjob in a pre-existing massage parlor rather than getting taxpayers to build him a new one."
