How to recognize fake AI-generated faces

quote [ In 2014 machine learning researcher Ian Goodfellow introduced the idea of generative adversarial networks or GANs. The first GAN images were easy for humans to identify. But the latest examples of GAN-generated faces are more difficult. Here are some things you can look for when trying to recognize an image produced by a GAN. We’ll focus on faces because they are a common testing ground for researchers, and many of the artifacts most visible in faces also appear in other kinds of images. ]

Voight-Kampff at a glance.

Are you a real human? Are you sure?

Check in the mirror for any of these signs you might be an AI-generated simulacrum "living" in a virtual reality:

•Indecipherable text behind you
•Phantom fuzzy pseudo-earring blobs growing out of your neck
•Hair not attached to anything
•The world around you is surreal
•Non-stereotypical gender presentation
•Weird teeth

If you exhibit any of these symptoms of inauthentic humanity, please log onto your social media accounts and warn your followers.
