There was a no vote, which I'm getting clarification on rules wise, but maybe someone knows something. Duh duh duh.

Daffyduck and Shiftace - I was going to go with these two again, to force a traitor out if it exists but the no vote makes me just want to skip on both of them altogether. Why risk it?

So, I'm going with previous traitor and now hopefully good person R1Xhard and endopol. Because they are the next names on the list.

Not going with Team Duckface? Easier to hide in a group of unknowns then with a team that is 1 an 0 in getting er done.

I feel a little sketchy about R1Xhard, in a way that I can't quite put my finger on. It just seems like some of his comments might be aimed at raising the general level of paranoia and suspicion, and that benefits the baddies more than us.

I'm probably just being paranoid, though, and I'm far more suspicious of the first team with their single Nay vote, so I'm inclined to vote Yea for this team, just to see what happens.

Well guess I better think before I type and better stop shit talking conception hoping some notifications may get their attention to the play field/board.

And if I'm suspect call me on it early, or don't call on me at all.

I'm gonna 'nay' this one. I don't trust arrowhen, at least not yet, but he might have a point about R1Xhard.

If two of you have the skeebies about R1 then this team should be voted down.

The next team should be me, end and shift then, since that'll eliminate you and Wen working together as evil doers.

You want to put whoever you think is a baddie on your team with you. they cant pm each other and have to communicate in the the open so they both don't vote fail and out themselves. I have to put up 4 people next round. Odds are it is going to fail unless we at least find one baddie.

Or they'd just vote yea and get some credibility, no?

If they do, they would also be two quests down, leaving us with just one to clear.

A rule has been pointed out to me that I did not follow, Normally in real life we do everything in secret, though we can actually look each other in the eye in that case so it makes sense to not ignore it here.

Wait, what? That can't be right! Revealing the votes prevents pretty much any kind of strategic play for the baddies and COMPLETELY fucks the Merlin, who can't even VOTE based on the information they possess without giving away their role.

Furthermore, the voting being public is very important, could have been why evil triumphed so easily last time. Remember, evil is there to fuck with the good, but overall the assassin is key to success. Try to pay attention to whoever is talking and hypothesizing the most, protect them so they don't get the knife.

I think the public voting makes sense for a face to face game. Online I think secret votes add a little extra layer of uncertainty (in a game that thrives on uncertainty) by giving everyone one more thing to lie about and suspect others of lying about.

I definitely agree about the importance of the Assassin -- if we all don't talk more we're fucked; the Merlin not only won't be able to drop hints, he won't even be free to cast an educated vote.

It'll be interesting to see what happens next.
