Duped by Zozo's Polka Dot Suit-Powered 'Custom-Fit' Clothes Gimmick

quote [ The oversized jeans bunched up comically and uncomfortably around my waist as I tightened my belt last night, and I realized that I’d totally fallen for a diabolical scheme. I believed a brand and had been owned very hard. ]

A follow up, of sorts, to this post. Be sure to check out the update at the end.

My experience wasn't that bad, the shirt is way too short and the pants are a bit too big.

Overall I would try them again in the late future after they have satisfied a few more customers.

So what you're saying is, zozo is like the yiung inexperienced prosty on the block?

Wait, so it was mostly a ploy to get you to give them your data in regards to size and shape. WTF.

I felt like the jeans I got fit pretty well, especially considering that "thin" jeans never fit me. The shirt was a bit loose, but nothing terrible.

Seems like a solid idea that just needs refinement and qc.

I don't know anything about making clothes, but something about this idea doesn't make sense to me.

I would expect that the main limiting factor is not getting accurate body measurements, but manufacturing the clothes accurately based on those measurements.

I don't see how having a fancy polka dot suit is going to make the manufacturing part any cheaper. At the end of the day, its going to cost more to have customized clothes no matter how you took the measurements in the first place.
