Obama comes home in more ways than one.

quote [ Former president Barack Obama talked about the state of U.S. democracy at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus ]

In case you were wondering who the leader of the Democratic party was....well now you know.

It sure was nice to hear a Democrat make a speech...a damn good speech that laid out Democratic party ideals and pretty much defines what it means to be a Democrat then lays out a Patriotic argument to come together and ends with his loudest message of all... VOTE! Vote like your life depends on it cause this time it does.

Downturn economy for Obama and cash for clunkers was a huge success. Also Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and bank bailout.

I prefer to think he was willing to kill "them" if necessary and wasn't so stupid to insult people of the same religion who were their neighbors, because we needed their help to catch the killers...ya see we wern't after the religion, despite what the crusaders will try and tell you.

Fox Business host calls former President George W. Bush a "radical" liberal
President George W. Bush was “a radical... What would you call him? A liberal himself. He wasn’t a conservative," Lou Dobbs claimed.

This yet another example of how left/right or even conservative/liberal is too simple not to be muddled.

Which one likes free trade?
Conservative Southern manufacturers had much in common with their Northern counterparts, but regional differences created a gulf between the two groups. Free trade and a lack of regulation benefited these Southern manufacturers, allowing them to poach from Northern industries. They instead trained their ire on New Deal wage and labor legislation, which they saw as benefiting Northern industry.

Now that Obama has, at least tepidly, endorsed Medicare for all and other planks of the progressive agenda as good ideas, are the 3rd way Hillaryites coming along or are they still trying to tell us that is a bridge too far?
