Because there's probably something very wrong with me, I like to pop in to r/wearethemusicmakers from time to time just to see how much boneheaded ignorance, heartbreaking naivety, and infuriating Dunning-Kruger hubris I can stomach in one sitting.

On the opposite end of the spectrum the Gearslutz forums are a great place to watch cranky old recording industry grognards argue for years on end about $10,000 microphones.

Visiting the super chill synth-bros over at r/synthesizers is like a refreshing vacation to Portland, OR, only the coffee isn't as good.

Finally, r/guitar is a good place to learn whatr/guitarcirclejerk is making fun of this week but otherwise it's pretty useless.
