Well, I do. OTOH, nobody recycles anything in most restaurants and coffee shops because they don't have recycle bins, and if they do they just get full of trash and end up in the garbage anyway because people are lazy morons.

That's ableist, though.
People who REALLY need to drink from straws due to disability lose out w/ this decision. Plastic straws are sterile compared to metal straws and paper straws are expensive right now. I feel like companies decided on straws because it is the least costly to make. Cutting straws from their production line probably won't even put a dent on their bank. |
