 Decentralizing doesn't solve the problem. Nor does projecting bullshit empathy on Mark Zuckerberg. Taking to the streets though? Yeah, maybe. |

What's happening is what I (like a lot of people) was afraid would happen: the existing powers would recognize the potential of the internet/WWW in time to use their money and influence to suborn it and use it as a means of maintaining and increasing control over users, rather than it being the tool to redistribute power more equally, as many (also including me) hoped it would be.
