An unfortunate thing.
Here is another article with abit more information. My first thoughts when I heard about this earlier were, why not use a pipe/hose that they drag through then pump the water out of pipe then could crawl back put through.

Sure. If you get the pipe in place. Big pipe and lots of awkward dragging of big pipe to do first.

I think it is a total of 3.2km to get out and has elevation changes of over 30m making it unfeasible. |
