Captain Ahab was like that. A weird "duo" act, one did all the music and the other was a muse whose only contribution to the group was dancing on stage in a blue speedo.

When The Prodigy first came out it was kind of the same: two guys did the music and two guys just danced and had crazy hair. Then they let one of the crazy hair guys sing, and you end up with "Firestarter". Weird. One guy still just dances.
