Was watching an episode of Mr. Show that had a silly sketch about NASA blowing up the moon. It got me thinking so I did a quick search and reaffirmed that truth is stranger than fiction.

On the desktop, I followed the link and got one of those endless popup streams that disabled the browser and played loud sounds. I had to kill the browser twice to get rid of it. (The first time I reopened, I accidentally let the browser open the tabs it had open before, which re-triggered the harassment.) |
