Interesting but unsurprising. A very large number of the court cases that defined the commerce clause were about adulterated milk and states trying to protect their citizens from the cackling villain that is Wisconsin.
(btw, later things were reversed as Wisconsin deafened itself from the abomination that is margarine.) |
