George Clinton: Life lessons from a funked-up superstar

quote [ He altered the course of multiple genres, became one of the most sampled artists in history and mentored the likes of Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kendrick Lamar. Now George Clinton wants to keep that legacy alive. ]

I seen George Clinton with Funkadelic live. Dude didn't even get a word in. Every time he tried to step up to the mic, this young buck in his band would push him over. Spent most of the gig like a coked up beetle rolling on his back in his pimp furs. It was an hour and a half gig with half his band leaderless and lost, the other half crawling all over each other, drugged outta their minds trying to show off what they could do.

Strange night. Seen him a couple of other times afterwards, but I could never take his cocky act seriously after seeing him be made such a bitch.

On good, it's an interview, I thought this was an obit.
