quote [ Last month, CNN's Brian Stelter revealed that Sinclair Broadcast Group, operator of nearly 200 local television stations across the United States, would be recording promotional content about "irresponsible, one-sided news stories plaguing our country." Deadspin has since found that content and compiled it all into a terrifyingly synchronized montage. ]
Your local News is no longer local....or news, It's propaganda.

So you think Sinclair is Propaganda as well...I'm surprised.
You know that the Sinclair purchase of Tribune broadcasting just happened a few months ago right? |

not sure if this is a new version of this vide but I have seen. Similar videos.
I would be like “main stream media at do you expect?” It google and Facebook essentially do the same thing too. |

The video is new...Sinclair has been spoon feeding their satellites this crap for a while. This just shows the effect of picking up Tribune broadcasting recently.

The similar videos you'll often see are coming from newsreaders reciting stories from a newswire source. Conan makes fun of them a lot. Just as disturbing, in my opinion, but a slightly different beast.

Yes, but most of them are still propaganda, just another side of propaganda. Fox, cnn, cnbc, hell most (talk) radio stations. Edit: There is very little if any neutral reporting going on anymore.

bbqkink said[1] @ 12:03am GMT on 2nd Apr
It doesn't have to be neutral to not be propaganda...it just has to be true.
Propaganda is information that is not objective and is used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, often by presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is presented.[1] Propaganda is often associated with material prepared by governments, but activist groups, companies and the media can also produce propaganda. In the twentieth century, the term propaganda has been associated with a manipulative approach, but propaganda historically was a neutral descriptive term.[1][2] A wide range of materials and media are used for conveying propaganda messages, which changed as new technologies were invented, including paintings, cartoons, |

Well it is amazing the amount that news gets wrong. If you ever hear a news story about something that you are personally close to or have a lot of knowledge about you see just how badly they get stuff wrong. Then apply that to everything.

This sucks ass, but really, I doubt I'll even notice when Sinclair moves in.
My local tv and newspaper are already owned by the same people, and it was one of only two or three newspapers in the country that endorsed Trump in 2016, when other republican papers were begging people not to vote Trump. I'm surrounded by True Believers. I don't see how they can get any more misinformed/dumber. There's already only one message on radio, and a lot of farmers, truckers, etc listen to radio all day long. |

Dan Rather rips Sinclair over media bias promo: It's not journalism, it's propaganda
Dan Rather ✔ @DanRather News anchors looking into camera and reading a script handed down by a corporate overlord, words meant to obscure the truth not elucidate it, isn't journalism. It's propaganda. It's Orwellian. A slippery slope to how despots wrest power, silence dissent, and oppress the masses. |
