My child's elementary school recently added a traffic policeman, to add a police presence following recent school shootings elsewhere in the country. Pickup and drop off has always been terrible at the school for various reasons, mainly poor design. So this traffic cop decides he's going to fix the issue by utilizing his traffic cop skills (i.e. harassing everyone) and it now takes an extra 5 minutes to leave the school.
