See, this is what I'm talking about. It's the difference between "hey, look at this cool thing I didn't know existed!" and "damn it, I want the original source not your stupid webpage."

Problem is, because we're not one of those sites with content... or at least "original" descriptive paragraphs about the content we're linking to, we don't rank high on the search engines and thus don't get the traffic that would allow us to grow. JB's porn posts were our primary source of search engine traffic, like exponentially higher than any other posts, but they were still under the threshold for pulling in new active users. One of the reasons I'm trying to come up with a karma based progress flow for new users, so the become active as soon as possible.
