This is the sort of thing that puzzles me and, most likely, all other first world citizens. The love of the permanent-solution-through-maximal-force so embraced by many Americans cuts right across the political spectrum.

So promotes "people hunting", boasts about owning soap made from the fat of tortured, murdered humans and lives with a collection of manikins and Real Dolls. What a charming and undobutably healthy person that should pass background checks for weapons.

According to this CBS story, gun sales are down, and haven't really spiked after the school shooting.
