The money's nice but they're simultaneously gutting their benefits which offsets it pretty well. Still, they ARE 48th nationally in terms of teacher pay

Also note that the republicans indicated how proud they were that the funds would come from cuts is things like Medicare. The Gov will have a fight on his hands when budget time comes around.

No, that's considered a school supply like markers, glue, and construction paper. They'll have to bring their own from home like everything else they need to do their job.
