The baddest motherfuckers I used to play against would eat your lunch with the grenade launcher, and were better at grenade jumping than you were at rocket jumping. Don't knock it, it fucking works in skilled hands.

The computer I built from scratch in 2000 had a Voodoo 5 5500 in it, the last card released before the Nvidia buyout. Half Life never looked so good.

Voodoo cards were good.... but nowhere near as awesome as the Bitch' Fast 3D 2000. Kinda wonder what happened to Savage and Matrox though. Seem to recall them and NVIDIA trading punches pretty regularly till the first gen Geforce cards wiped the field and ATI caught up around 2003 or so.

Now we have no idea, what any card can do because they deliberately use STUPID numbers which mean absolutely nothing, and are really versions of last years cards. ARGHHHHHH! |
