Don't know if this is illegal...if not it damn sure ought to be.

quote [ The Washington Post reports Trump invited McCabe to the White House after he fired former FBI Director James Comey last May. McCabe was the acting FBI director at the time.

Trump asked acting FBI chief whom he voted for during WH meeting

Trump also reportedly expressed anger at McCabe over the thousands of dollars in donations his wife, a Democrat, received for her failed Virginia state Senate bid in 2015 from a political action committee led by former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe ]

Then tries to have him fired...several times. Got to be illegal.

One of the more insightful observations I've come across is that most of the higher order workings of our government are codified not with rules and laws but on understandings of not being a douchebag and wanting the government to function as intended. Like all good things, all it took was a few bad apples to ruin it for everyone.

On the flipside, Russia apparently was surprised/upset that the President has so little power domestically. Which, I suspect, was also a surprise to Trump.

The Media keeps calling them "norms" Trump is not only disrespectful to them he is ignorant of most. And I am sure that Trump sees nothing wrong at all asking for personal and political loyalty pledges.

Ah, so this is how we are choosing to obfuscate the other side of the drama surrounding the FBI right now...

Care to expand? Do you have anything incriminating other than the fact that his wife is a Democrat?

#ReleaseTheMemo, 5 months of "lost texts" by the FBI ring a bell? It's entirely possible we miss scandals because of the sources we choose to get news from.

Anything missing from this story? Because nether of these points are really impressive when trying to prove much beyond the ineptitude of bureaucracy to me.

I don't know what's in the memos, but I do know that Steve King is a piece of shit.

#ReleaseTheMemo Yep that rings a bell...it is Memo written by Nunes...stop there just a second...Nunes they guy who pretended he had secret documents before, and was shown to be LYING and working for the Whitehouse and had to recuse himself.

This document IS NOT the work of the inelegance committee it is....

The document, pulled together by Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., alleges that the Obama administration abused the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in targeting the Trump campaign.

The specifics aren't clear because it is classified and available only to members of Congress.and Nunes has so far not taken the step of sharing it with the FBI.

Does this ring a bell? He has done this before and because of his previous lies he is supposed to be recused from any investigation. And that "targeting the Trump campaign" is going to a judge to get a warrant. something we will find everything about in the trial.

5 months of "lost texts" Hard to tell why this maters. Neither one of our star crossed lovers were pro anybody in 2016 it seems they had disgust for all involved Bernie, Clinton, and Trump and or any other politician

It also seems Strzok thought Trump had done anything wrong.

“You and I both know the odds are nothing,” Strzok wrote to Page about Mueller’s upcoming investigation into ties between Russia and Trump’s Republican presidential campaign. “If I thought it was likely, I’d be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concerned there’s no big there there.”

So we have a Memo written in a hidden room by a Trump campaine member who may be in jeopardy for his previous efforts to obstruct justice with another phony Memo. a memo he won't release to the FBI for investigation, but wants to give it to Alex Jones instead.

And we have more emails from to FBI agents who were having an affair and had a dislike of all politicians. Neither of which had anything to do with the Director or Deputy director of the FBI...so

The question remains...Do you have anything incriminating other than the fact that his wife is a Democrat?

All I am hearing from the right....

A Democrat can’t investigate Hillary because they are both in the same party and he won’t do it fairly.

A Democrat can’t investigate Trump because it’s the opposite party and he won’t do it fairly.

My sentiments.... Don't do the crime

It also seem Mr. Nunes may have shot himself in the dick.

DoJ's warning letter to Devin Nunes

I'll care once Nunes actually releases the damn memo. Until then, there's not enough information for it to be a real scandal.
