Always interesting to read past predictions of the present world. I think that writers often get the technological results correct, even if they get the method wrong - for example we eat lots of fast food, but it's boringly delivered to our homes by hand instead of through a network of pneumatic tubes. Writers usually get social changes completely wrong, because they extrapolate contemporary trends instead of envisaging true change.
